Over the weekend, GW Buzz began making preparations for another amazing season of beekeeping in D.C.! We reached out to our George Washington community and had the pleasure of engaging with fellow students. While cleaning and painting hive boxes, it was amazing to see everyone show such interest in honeybees and the work necessary to support them. We are excited to involve our DC and college community!
A special thanks to Founding Farmers for supplying all the paint and brushes and thank you to all those who gave up their Saturday morning to help us out!
GW Buzz will be holding a second volunteer day February 17th. For more information, please contact us via Facebook or firstname.lastname@example.org.
